Mari has a Bachelor's degree in Equine Science from Stephens College. She is also a USDF Silver and Bronze medalist and has successfully competed in dressage through Grand prix Level. Mari’s focus on flatwork and its relation to fences sets up horse and rider for success in and out of the show ring. In addition to her years of riding and coaching,
She has coached riders from the start of their riding career through the Grand Prix level, as well as helped keep our show horses fit and ready for reaching the potential to compete at all levels. Mari is a true horsewoman as well as a dog lover, you will never see her without one of her canine sidekicks at her side!
"Great people and great horses! The instructors care about their students and want them to learn and grow with each visit. The new stars program is a wonderful way to motivate and teach the students about horse care and the horses routines, plus the horses are sweet as can be. This is a great facility with truly great people!!!"

Katie was born and raised in Oklahoma. She has been riding hunters & jumpers since 2003 and has shown at both local and rated shows in both disciplines. Katie attended William Woods University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Equine Science & Social Work with a minor in Equestrian Administration. Katie is excited about the teaching opportunities she has at Griffin Farm as well as all of the various types of horses she gets to work with. Katie also works part time in the emergency shelter and transitional living program for Youth In Need, an organization that serves youth and families.
I founded Great Griffin Farm in April of 2002 with My Father Edwin.
Our goal was to operate a top notch equestrain center in the heart of the mid west where we could share our passion for our love of horses as well as offering excellent care, training and coaching for all our athletes: horse and human alike!I believe weather you are competing at the top level or are a novice who is passionate about the sport you will find there is a place for both horse and rider to grow and reach their goals at Griffin.
