“My daughter Addison has been riding at Great Griffin Farm for multiple years now. Katie is a wonderful teacher and will meet each child at their level. Not only has Addie learned to ride well, but she has also learned how to tack and groom. She loves going every week and could stay out there all day!" - Jenn Sullivan, 2021

Nicholle began riding when she was 13 years old while living in Michigan. Her experience includes riding on the United States Equestrian Young Rider’s Eventing team from 1989-1992, and learning from some of the industry’s best. She rode, trained, and competed out of her family's facility, and trained with Olympic medalists Karen Lende O'Connor and David O'Connor, Bruce Stephenson, and Stephen Bradley. While on the USET Young Rider’s Team, Nicholle and her horse Irish King (a 17.3 Clydesdale/Saddlebred cross) made it to the 3- Day Eventing preliminary level in Bromont, Canada. Nicholle is married to her husband John of 22 years and is a mother of 4. She joined our Team in spring of 2020 and specializes in supplemental lessons for our show clients.
"Great Griffin Farm has provided our daughter with a fantastic equestrian experience. She started here at a young age and has learned the fundamentals of horse care and riding that have allowed her to continue to grow and develop the skills necessary to support her riding goals. The experienced training staff are skilled, supportive, and know how to work with each individual rider to provide tailored training and instruction. Our daughter's growth and success continues to amaze us and I'm so thankful for our experience at Great Griffin Farm!" - Shalyn Gregory, 2021

I founded Great Griffin Farm in April of 2002 with my Father, Edwin Hudspeth.
Our goal was to operate a top-notch equestrian center in the heart of the midwest where we could share our passion and our love of horses, as well as offer excellent care, training and coaching for all our athletes - horse and human alike! I believe whether you are competing at the National level or are a novice who is passionate about the sport, you will find there is a place for both horse and rider to grow and reach their goals at Great Griffin.
I love working with my students, sharing my knowledge and experiences to help them achieve their goals both in and out of the show ring.
